Gum base without filler

Master Gum base, or gum base without filler, is usually requested when the customer has access to fillers locally and prefers to control the addition of filler personally. Gum base without fillers has a very short shelf life and is very sensitive to the additives used during the candy-making process. These additives are often acidic and will turn the gum base. Gum base with no filler has a dark brown color which is usually not popular with end-users.
